Fire in the open - Westwick - South Cambs

At 4.45pm on Wednesday (5) a crew from St Neots was called to a fire in the open on Station Road in Westwick. 

Firefighters arrived to find a bonfire that had become out of control and was affecting the surrounding area. The crew used a hose reel to bring the bonfire under control before returning to their station by 6.40pm. 

The cause of the fire was accidental.
